I got a 2008 ford Mondeo MK4 2L 140hp TDCI with starting problems. for about a year ago i changed the fuel filter, glowplugs, inlet air temp sensor, air filter. for about the last 3 months i changed the battery to a 800CCA battery new 5w30oil new oil filter. Ford installed a very wide choice of engines, both gasoline and diesel-powered. For selected versions, the carmaker offered an automatic transmission. FORD Mondeo Sedan 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 By contrast, the Mk 4 2.2 TDCi - with standard suspension and 17" wheels - was smooth and refined (more so than the Mk 4 2.0 TDCi IMHO) and a great cruiser, but the engine didn't have quite the same oomph as the TDCi 155. Possibly some of this is weight-related, but I suspect that it's also engine-related.
